The cutting instructions for the 2.5" strip sets were spot on, and the black-and-white background really makes the gelato colors pop. I’m halfway through piecing mine and everything is coming together perfectly without any guesswork.

The way the ombre strips fade into each other creates such a beautiful, painterly effect that looks way more complex than it actually was to piece. I love how clearly the pattern explains which strips to pair with the black and white backgrounds for that crisp, modern look.

I was a bit intimidated by the ombre strip set at first, but the instructions break it down so clearly that even a confident beginner like me got great results. The finished quilt top really does capture that mountain horizon look.
