Pineapple Pillow or Placemat CLPJAW050

The placemat size is perfect for my sewing table, and having the ruler slot built into the pattern made cutting so much faster. I finished the whole project in about four hours, just like it said.

I love how the 12 x 16 inch pillow size is just right for the couch—it's big enough to be cozy but not overwhelming. The pineapple pattern sewed up faster than I expected, taking only a weekend afternoon with the Creative Grids ruler.

The pineapple design is such a fun pop of color for my sewing room, and I love that it works as both a pillow and a placemat with the 12x16 and 10x16 sizes. The yardage-friendly pattern meant I used scraps I already had, and it came together in under three hours.
