The Egyptian long-stapled cotton is noticeably smoother through my machine than my usual bobbins, and the plastic sides keep the thread from catching. Perfect for piecing without any tension issues.

The plastic-sided bobbins really do deliver the thread smoothly—no snagging or tangling mid-quilt, which is usually my pet peeve. These hold a solid amount of cotton, so I'm not constantly swapping them out during a long piecing session.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly these bobbins feed through my machine without any snagging. The plastic sides really do make for consistent tension while piecing.
