RILEY BLAKE - Confetti Cottons - Currant

The hand of this cotton is noticeably softer than the basic quilting fabrics I’ve used before, which made pressing my seams a breeze. I bought it for a baby quilt and the 44” width was perfect for cutting large pieces without waste.

The color is a deep, true currant that reads beautifully in natural light. The 44-inch width gives me plenty of room to cut panels without piecing, and the hand feels smooth against my rotary cutter.

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft this fabric is straight out of the package, and the 44-inch width gave me plenty for my quilt squares. The deep currant color is rich without being overwhelming.
