Finally, a solid that's actually soft – this quilting cotton feels noticeably smoother against the fingers than most solids I've tried. The 44-inch width gave me plenty of room to cut precise strips for my latest project.

The hand on this 100% cotton is genuinely soft—not the stiff, boardy feel you sometimes get with quilting solids. I’ve already cut into it for a backdrop and the weave is smooth and even, which made piecing a breeze. Definitely my new go-to for non-print backgrounds.

The 43/44-inch width gave me plenty to work with for my quilting project, and the soft hand makes it a dream to sew. It pressed into crisp seams without any fuss, so my blocks came together perfectly straight.
