RILEY BLAKE - Expressions Batiks: Express Yourself! - Color Bands - Afterglow - K100142-

The batik texture on this fabric is so smooth and the color bands blend beautifully from warm to cool tones. I’m already planning a quilt for my living room with it.

The gradient in this Afterglow colorway is exactly what I wanted for a quilt backing—the bands transition so smoothly it almost looks hand-painted. Pressed it last night and the batik texture held its shape beautifully, no shifting or fraying along the edges.

The colors in this Afterglow batik are even richer in person than on screen, and the fabric has a nice, soft hand for quilting. I love how the color bands pattern makes cutting and piecing simple, and it washed up beautifully with no fading.
