I was worried the colors might be too bold, but this fabric has a beautiful gradient that's actually quite soft in person. The smooth hand feel makes it a pleasure to work with for my latest quilt project.

The ombré fade on this Calypso batik is so smooth and rich in person, exactly what I hoped for when piecing a quilt top. Fabric feels substantial without being stiff, and the color shifts beautifully from deep to light. Already planning my next project with it.

I was pleasantly surprised by how vibrant the teal-to-purple gradient turned out once I unfolded the full yardage. The fabric feels smooth and has just the right amount of drape for a quilt backing.
