Used this ombre grape for a quilt backing and the gradient is gorgeous—deep purple melting into lighter lavender. The batik texture feels smooth and has a nice drape, and the color stayed true after the first wash.

The color shift in this batik is absolutely gorgeous in person, moving from a deep plum to a soft lavender with a lot of depth. I bought it for a quilt backing and the hand feel is smooth, not stiff at all, so it should quilt up nicely.
