The print is crisp and the black background is rich without feeling muddy, which is exactly what I wanted for my Christmas quilt blocks. It pressed flat with no shifting, and the fabric weight feels sturdy enough for piecing.

The weave is nice and tight, so it handled my rotary cutter without fraying at all. I'm already planning a second project with this Village line because the black colorway gives the gingerbread motifs such a cozy, old-fashioned feel.
