I use this with a clear acrylic ruler for quilting and the suction cup holds firmly every time, even on textured fabric. Makes picking up and repositioning the ruler so much easier on my cutting mat.

I was skeptical about a suction cup holding my ruler steady during cutting, but this thing hasn't budged once since I slapped it on. The clear grip is invisible while working and makes grabbing the ruler from a flat desk way less fiddly.

The suction cup is seriously strong—it snaps right onto the ruler and stays put while I move it around. Wiping both surfaces first is the trick, and now my shaky hands can mark lines without the ruler sliding off.
