The crane crest pattern on this ash pink cotton is even prettier in person, and the 30cm square is perfectly sized for my stitching hoop. The fabric has a nice, sturdy hand to it that makes the sashiko lines really pop.

I was a bit worried the 30x30cm would be too small for my project, but the crane crest pattern is incredibly detailed and the cotton has a nice, stiff hand for stitching. The color is a soft, dusty pink, exactly what I wanted.

The 30x30cm finished size is perfect for a small embroidery project I had in mind, and the ash pink color of the cotton cloth is more delicate than I expected. Stitching on it feels smooth and responsive.
