I love how clearly the pattern explains the two different churn dash versions—it made it easy to sort my precut 5” squares and decide which blocks to make. The scrappy look came together quickly, and the instructions kept me on track from start to finish.

The instructions for the light and dark versions are laid out so clearly that I felt confident swapping fabrics without second-guessing. Being able to use 5" squares made digging through my stash a breeze, and the scrappy churn dash came together exactly as pictured.

The 5" precut squares worked perfectly with this pattern and saved so much cutting time. I love that you can choose between a light or dark version of the churn dash block for variety. My first block came together exactly as shown in the photos.
