I’ve been sewing for years but this pattern made me feel like a beginner again in the best way—just a ruler and cutter needed, and I had the top pieced in one afternoon. The finished quilt feels rewarding without any complicated blocks or curves.

The pattern is brilliantly simple—just strips and rows with a 6" x 24" ruler, no fancy templates needed. I finished the top in one afternoon, and it's genuinely perfect for a first quilt project.

I was surprised how quickly this quilt came together with just the ruler and rotary cutter—the strip-cutting method really saves time. It’s simple enough for a beginner but still looks impressive when finished.
