Cutting into those 10" squares was a breeze, and the finished quilt measures a perfect 53 1/2" x 72 1/2". The whimsical appliqué shapes came together beautifully with Amanda's Sparkle line.

I was a bit nervous about the appliqué work, but the pattern's instructions made it surprisingly easy to follow. The finished size is perfect for a cozy lap quilt, and I love how the 10" squares cut down on cutting time.

The blocks came together quicker than I expected once I got the layout sorted. The finished size is perfect for a lap quilt, though I wish the instructions included a few more tips for pressing the applique pieces.
