WINDHAM FABRICS - Sable & Scarlet من Whistler Studios - Fine Petals - أسود

The petals in this Fine Petals pattern are spaced just right so cutting them out for a quilt doesn’t waste any fabric. I’ve already used a fat quarter in a pillow cover and the black holds the color beautifully after a wash.

The black background really makes the fine petals pattern pop, and it held up beautifully through the wash with no fraying. I’m already planning a second quilt with this one because it presses so crisply.

The hand of this cotton fabric is surprisingly nice for a quilting weight—soft but not too flimsy. I’m using it for a small pieced wall hanging, and the subtle black background really makes the petals pop.
