The batik texture has that lovely hand-dyed depth without being stiff, which made it a dream to cut for my quilt blocks. The hyacinth blue holds its own against brighter prints in the same project, and the fabric pressed flat with almost no fraying. I've already ordered a second yard for the backing

The blue hyacinth shade is even richer in person, and the batik texture gives it a lovely hand that's perfect for piecing. I've already cut into it for a quilt backing and the fabric held up beautifully through the wash.

The batik pattern has so much depth up close, the blue hyacinth shifts between indigo and soft lavender depending on the light. Cut into it for a quilt border and the hand feel is pleasantly smooth, no stiffness at all. Wish I'd ordered more yardage for my backing.
