The plum background is richer and more elegant than I expected, and the crane motifs are crisp and well-saturated. I’ve already used two fat quarters for a quilt top, and they press beautifully without fraying.

I was a little worried the cranes might look too busy, but the print scale is actually quite elegant and the plum background ties everything together beautifully. The fabric has a nice, soft hand for quilting, and the twelve pieces give me plenty of variety for my next project.
