Moda - Freaky Familiars 10" Layer Cake par Ruby Star Society 42 pièces

Finally a Halloween line that doesn't lean cartoonish—the 10" squares cut up beautifully for my quilt blocks, and the 42 pieces gave me plenty of variety without repeats that felt samey. The color saturation on the darker prints is exactly what I was hoping for.

The prints in this layer cake are delightfully spooky without being too childish, and the 10-inch squares are cut accurately so my patchwork corners match up perfectly every time. I've already used half of them for a table runner.

Those 42 ten-inch squares give me so many options for a Halloween quilt, and the color palette is rich without being too dark. I've already cut into a few and the fabric feels nicely sturdy for piecing. Even the fussy-cut prints are aligned beautifully, which makes a big difference.
