The gradient is exactly what I hoped for—it goes from a soft pale gray to a deeper charcoal so smoothly that my quilt blocks look like they have built-in shading. The cotton presses flat and holds a crease beautifully, which made piecing the ombre strips a joy.

The ombre shift in this gray multi is so gradual, it almost looks hand-dyed, and the quilting cotton holds a crisp crease without fraying badly. I've already cut half my patchwork blocks and the color transitions are making the whole top feel more dynamic than I expected.

I bought this for a baby quilt and the ombre effect gives it a soft, watercolor look that's really hard to find in cotton. The fabric pressed well without any distortion, and the gray tones are complex without being muddy.
