WINDHAM - Deep Blue par Katherine Quinn - Garden Reef - Deep Blue

The blues and greens in this print shift beautifully depending on how the light hits the fabric, which made cutting my hexagons surprisingly fun. It pressed flat with no puckering, a real plus for precise piecing. I'm already planning a second quilt top to use up the leftovers.

I was nervous about the print being too bold, but the marine motifs in this deep blue colorway are beautifully subtle. The fabric has a nice, crisp hand that pressed up perfectly for my quilt blocks. Already planning to buy more for the backing.

The deep blue colorway is even richer in person, with that coral reef print adding lovely depth to my quilt blocks. I've already ordered more yardage for a second project because the weave feels sturdy yet drapes nicely for piecing.
