Owen J. ★★★★★

I've been pressing seams with just an iron for years and the difference this clapper makes is ridiculous — one press and the seam lies completely flat. The hardwood has a nice solid weight to it without being unwieldy, and the 8 inch length covers most of my quilt blocks in one go.

Amelia ★★★★★

That hardwood block is heavier than I expected, which is exactly what you want when you're pressing a seam flat. I press, hold for a few seconds, and the fabric stays crisp without any steam wrinkles creeping back in.

Matthew W. ★★★★★

Pressing seams with steam and then setting this clapper on top makes the flattest blocks I've ever pieced. The hardwood is heavy enough to actually press the fabric down while it cools. It's a simple tool but it earns its spot next to my iron.
