The color is a deep, true navy that really pops against lighter fabrics in my quilt. I love that the batik print gives it that hand-drawn feel without being too busy.

Cut into this for a quilt backing and the batik dye is beautifully even, no washed-out patches anywhere. The blue holds that classic hand-dipped look but the hand feel is surprisingly soft for a quilting cotton. Used it for a wall hanging and it pressed like a dream.

The blue batik print is exactly what I needed for a coastal-themed quilt, and the fabric has a nice hand for piecing. My only small gripe is that the color seems a touch lighter in person than on screen, but it still works beautifully.
