I was worried the black-on-black design would blend in too much, but it actually gives just enough texture to make a quilt look sophisticated without being busy. The fabric itself feels sturdy yet soft, and it cuts beautifully without fraying.

The print is so delicate that it adds texture without screaming for attention, and the fabric has a nice crisp hand for cutting precise shapes. I've already used it in two different quilts and it blends beautifully with both solids and prints.

The black-on-black floral is so subtle it almost reads as texture rather than print, which is exactly what I wanted for a quilt backing. It pressed like a dream and the tone-on-tone effect gives the whole piece a quiet, sophisticated depth without shouting.
