The color is a deep, true forest green that reads almost velvety in person, and the cotton base has that nice, sturdy hand that handles rotary cutting without shifting. I already cut out a baby quilt top with it and the lines stayed crisp through every press.

This plaid has such a crisp, clean print that it practically cut itself—the 100% cotton feels sturdy but not stiff. I’m using it for a quilt backing and the 44-inch width gave me just enough to work with. Really happy with how bright the forest green reads against the neutrals.

The yardage is consistent and the weave feels substantial for a cotton quilting fabric—it held up beautifully through washing and pressing. The plaid pattern itself is perfectly aligned, which made matching seams a breeze for my quilt blocks.
