The no-Y-seam design is a game changer for piecing this block—no fussing with tricky intersections, and everything lines up beautifully. I cut the two-color star in one pass and had the whole top done in an afternoon, which never would've happened with templates.

It’s so nice being able to cut a whole two-color star block in one pass without any Y-seams. The 9-inch finished size is perfect for my scrap projects.

I was skeptical about the no Y-seams claim, but it's absolutely true; this die made piecing that LeMoyne Star block so much easier and faster than cutting by hand. The one-pass cutting for all shapes is a huge time saver on a complex design like this.
