The Bluesteel background is deeper and richer in person than on screen, which makes the little snails pop beautifully. I’m already planning a border with it because the cotton has a nice, firm hand that presses like a dream.

The Strawberry Snails print is even cuter in person, and the Bluesteel colorway gives it a surprisingly sophisticated feel for quilting. I've already used it in a baby quilt and the fabric handled the needle beautifully without fraying.

I was a little worried the Bluesteel colorway would be too dark, but it's actually the perfect deep navy with a subtle warmth that makes the snail pattern pop beautifully. The cotton feels crisp and sturdy, just right for a quilt top.
