I used this elastic to edge a mesh pocket on a tote bag, and the 3/4 inch width folded over cleanly without fraying. It washed fine on warm with no issues. A solid choice for that purpose.

The fold-over elastic held up perfectly after a warm wash and medium tumble dry, no fraying at all. I used it to finish the edge of a mesh purse pocket and it created a clean, professional look. Exactly what I needed for my sewing project.

I was pleasantly surprised at how soft this fold-over elastic is—much nicer to the touch than the usual stiff elastics I’ve used for bag pockets. It washed up fine on warm and kept its shape after drying.
