HENRY GLASS - Buttercream & Brickle Bits by Kim Diehl - Stair Steps - クリーム

The buttercream tone is warm without being yellow, and the faint brickle dots add just enough visual texture for a quilt back. I paired it with a darker print and it blends beautifully without disappearing.

The ivory background with the faint stair-step print is exactly the soft, versatile blender I needed for my quilt projects. It pairs beautifully without overwhelming the other fabrics.

The stair-step pattern is so subtle it reads almost like a solid, which makes it perfect for piecing without fighting the print. I bought it as a blender and it’s done exactly that across three different quilts so far. The cream tone is a touch warmer than stark white, which I actually prefer.
