HOFFMAN - Mousin' Around by Hoffman Designers - Carnival - ブラック

I’ve been using this fabric for a quilt backing, and the 43-44 inch width meant fewer seams to match up. The black background keeps the colorful mice crisp and playful without feeling too busy. It’s soft enough for a lap quilt but still holds its shape nicely.

The fabric’s 100% cotton weave feels sturdy yet soft for piecing, and the carnival print pops beautifully against that deep black base. I’ve already washed it once and it came out smooth with no fraying, which is exactly what I need for a quilt backing.

The black background really makes the carnival prints pop, and the 43-inch width gave me plenty of room to fussy-cut the motifs for my quilt blocks. It pressed flat without any stubborn wrinkles, which I always appreciate with quilting cotton.
