Jaybird Quilts: ナイトスカイパターン

The way the Sidekick ruler helps line up those four shades for each block is a game changer—made the stars pop with real depth. Finished all six blocks from just my fat quarters in a weekend.

I was a little nervous working with four separate shades for the first block, but the ruler made lining everything up so much easier than I expected. The finished stars really do have that layered, dimensional look.

I was a bit intimidated by the monochromatic stars at first, but the pattern's instructions for using four shades of the same color really makes the depth pop. The fact that four fat quarters make six blocks felt very efficient for my stash. It's a clever, satisfying project.
