I was pleasantly surprised how quickly these ghosts come together using precut strips. The layout is clever without being confusing, and the finished throw has just the right mix of spooky and cute.

The ghost pattern is so playful and the strip-piecing method makes it come together fast—I finished the throw top in one weekend. It's the perfect size for snuggling under while handing out candy, and the directions for 1/4 yard cuts are easy to follow even for a beginner like me.

The instructions for cutting the precut strips were so clear that I had my blocks pieced in one afternoon. Those little floating ghosts really pop against the dark background fabrics. I'm already planning a second one in different colors.
