My fabric squares fit perfectly thanks to the precise 5" and 10" precut requirements, and the conventional piecing instructions were so clear that my first lemur's stripey tail came out exactly right.

I’m almost done with my second lemur, and the precut squares make the tails come together without any wasted fabric. The instructions for the stripey tails are surprisingly clear, so I haven’t messed them up once.

I was a bit intimidated by the striped tails, but the way the pattern guides you through using precut 5" and 10" squares made it so much easier. The finished lemurs have such a playful look.
