I've been looking for a true black fabric with some subtle pattern, and this oval bars design is just understated enough. The 100% cotton feels nice and crisp, perfect for adding depth without overwhelming a quilt.

The black background really makes the oval bars pattern pop, and the hand of this cotton is smooth without being too stiff. I’ve already cut into it for a border and the fabric pressed flat with no fraying, which is always a relief. This will definitely be a go-to in my stash for dark, graphic quilt
