NORTHCOTT - Canvas by Deborah Edwards - Charcoal

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft this canvas fabric is—it quilts up beautifully without feeling stiff. The charcoal color is a true neutral that works perfectly for backing or sashing.

The charcoal shade is exactly what I was hunting for—deep and rich without being flat. It's a canvas weight, so it holds its shape nicely, but the soft hand makes it a joy to work with for a quilt backing.

This fabric has the perfect heft for a quilt backing — sturdy enough to hold its shape but the hand is surprisingly soft, not stiff at all. I’ve already cut into it for a throw and the charcoal neutral blends beautifully with everything I paired it with.
