The weave is surprisingly tight and sturdy, so the edges don't fray when I cut it for bag straps. I used the bright yellow stripe on a dark tote and the contrast really pops.

The reflective stripes catch light beautifully when I'm out walking with my tote, and the three-yard pack is just enough for two bag handles plus a strap. Seams sit flat against the fabric, no curling or bunching when I sew through it.
