I love how the side vents at the hem give this shift a bit of movement while keeping the simple silhouette. The cuffed short sleeves are just the right length.

The instructions were surprisingly clear, even for a beginner like me. Those inset pockets are perfectly placed and actually hold my phone without bulging.

The side vents give this dress just enough swing when I walk, and the top stitching around the neckline makes it look far more polished than the pattern’s simplicity suggests. Took me an afternoon to cut and sew, and the cuffed sleeves are a nice touch for hiding bra straps.
