I've been using this clapper to get crisp edges on my shirt collars and it works perfectly. The small size fits nicely in my hand and holds the heat from the steam just like a larger one would. Actually found it easier to maneuver on tight spots than my old wooden block.

The steam and hold method works exactly as described—my seams are finally flat without scorching the fabric. I grabbed the smaller size and it's perfect for sleeves and collars, fits right in my hand.

Been using it to press stubborn seams on my denim projects and the weight of the wood really holds the steam in place without needing a second hand. Feels solid and well-made, definitely does the job.
