I was a little intimidated by the English Paper Piecing at first, but the 25-block layout and five different EPP shapes turned out to be a fun, manageable challenge. The finished quilt top is exactly 70 inches square, which fits our bed perfectly.

The Eden fabric line pairs beautifully with these EPP shapes, and the 70-inch finished size is perfect for a throw. I found the English paper piecing blocks came together smoothly, though the applique took a bit more patience.

The step-by-step diagrams for the five EPP shapes are incredibly clear—I had the first block pieced together in an evening. The finished 70-inch throw is going to look stunning in my living room, and the mix of English paper piecing with applique keeps every block interesting.
