ジグザグロープソーイングプロジェクトブック by Katherine Lile

I grabbed this for a weekend project and ended up making three bowls before Sunday, the coiling-and-zigzag method is way easier than it looks in the photos. The instructions break down each shape so clearly that even my first basket turned out sturdy enough to hold fruit.

Finally, a craft book that actually delivers on its promise—the instructions for forming those trivets are so clear I made one in my first sitting. I love that the projects use a simple zigzag stitch, which keeps the whole process fast and meditative, not frustrating.

I was skeptical about coiling rope into something usable, but the step-by-step photos for the trivets and baskets made it click instantly. Finished my first bowl in one sitting and it actually holds its shape.
