I've quilted for years and still struggle with patterns that skimp on diagrams, but this one walks you through every block with clear color pictures. The 60" x 69" finished size is perfect for a throw, and the traditional piecing came together way faster than I expected.

The step-by-step illustrations made the traditional piecing so much easier to follow, and I love how clear the diagrams are. Finished mine in about two weekends and it came out exactly 60x69.

The diagrams are clear enough for a confident beginner like me to follow, though I did need to re-read a couple of the color illustrations. Finished size is just right for a couch throw.
