The cutting surface is much firmer than my old generic mat, so the die cuts through fabric without any shifting. It's been through a dozen projects already and there's barely a visible mark left on it.

This 5 x 10 mat is the perfect size for my smaller dies and it locks into the cutter without any wobble. The surface has held up through dozens of fabric cuts with barely a scratch.

I was worried the mat would shift around while cranking the cutter, but it locks onto the die board and stays put through dozens of passes. The 5 x 10 size is perfect for my smaller dies, so I'm not fighting a bigger mat every time.
