The woven basket effect is so clever once the strips come together, and using just one jelly roll plus cream fabric keeps the whole project from feeling overwhelming. I’ve made three baskets already and each one sews up faster than the last.

The cutting instructions are so clear that even with all those strips from the jelly roll, I never once mixed up my pieces. The woven effect came together beautifully once I got the first block done, and the border fabric really makes the pattern pop.

I was a bit nervous about the woven illusion, but the jelly roll strips came together perfectly once I followed the simple cutting instructions. Blocks finished square and flat, and the whole top was done in one weekend.
