I was a little intimidated by the 78" finished size at first, but the printed paper pattern breaks down the star blocks so clearly that assembly was actually relaxing.

The applique stars with the Sew Simple Shapes made the process so much smoother than I expected, and the final quilt turned out beautifully. I was worried about a 78-inch square being too large, but it drapes perfectly over a queen bed. Every seam lined up exactly right, which never happens for me.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clear and easy to follow the instructions are, especially the section for the appliqued stars with the Sew Simple Shapes. The finished quilt is exactly the 78-inch square I needed for my bed.
