퀼티 러브의 케이크 대시 퀼트 패턴

This pattern is so well laid out—the mix and match version came together in one afternoon with a single layer cake, exactly as promised. The instructions for the inside out variation are clear enough that I’m already cutting fabric for a second quilt.

I was a bit intimidated by layer cakes at first, but the Inside Out variation in this pattern made it surprisingly straightforward to piece together. The two options give you real flexibility, and I love that the mix-and-match version uses just one cake with no extra background fabric needed.

The inside out variation is such a clever twist—I love how swapping the background fabric completely changes the look. The instructions are clear enough that I finished the mix and match top in one weekend, and it’s a great way to use up a layer cake without buying extra yardage.
