Island Batik - Precious Pinks - Begonia - K20120-

The fabric has wonderful drape and holds a crease beautifully for piecing. I've already used it in a small wall hanging and the color adds such a soft touch.

I was nervous the fabric would bleed when washed, but the colors stayed just as rich as when I first unrolled it from the bolt. The hand-feel is surprisingly soft for a batik, perfect for my next quilt project.

I love how vibrant the pink tones are in this batik—it really pops when cut into smaller pieces. I plan to use it for a quilt backing and it's holding up beautifully after the first wash.
