Finally, a pattern that actually helps me use up my scrap bins. The instructions for piecing the 78.5-inch blocks were clear enough for a confident beginner. My only small wish is that the diagrams were printed slightly larger.

I love how this pattern makes such clever use of fabric scraps from the Seamstress collection. The 78.5-inch square is a nice, generous throw size too.

The cutting instructions for the half-square triangles are so clearly laid out that I flew through piecing the blocks. It’s a great way to finally use up those tiny leftover scraps I’ve been hoarding.
