Solar Eclipse 퀼트 패턴 by Elizabeth Hartman

I was a bit intimidated by the Delectable Mountains curves, but Elizabeth Hartman’s cutting diagrams made it so easy to follow. I made the lap size for a friend’s birthday, and the 64-inch square finished perfectly. The instructions for using precut strips saved me so much time on cutting.

I’m a precut junkie, so the fact that this works with 2-1/2in strips was a huge win for me—no tedious cutting, just sewing. The queen size at 96in square is a beast, but the layout diagrams for all three sizes made it feel totally manageable.

I used fat quarters for the lap size and loved how the modern take on the Delectable Mountains made the cutting process flow. The baby size came together in just one weekend, which was a nice surprise.
