Finally, a pair of snips that actually stays sharp after cutting through multiple layers of thread. The heavy-duty steel feels really solid in the hand, and the red color makes them easy to spot in my sewing basket.

Picked these up for quilting and they cut through thread cleanly without fraying. The steel construction feels solid in hand, though the spring could be a tad tighter. Does the job well for the price.
