Nellie's Needle quiltpatronen - Holiday Spools

The one-block design is so clever—I swapped the star for a snowflake and now it works for winter birthdays too. It came together in a single afternoon, which is exactly the kind of quick project I needed between bigger quilts.

I've been sewing for decades and this pattern's quick one-block approach made it a breeze to finish in a single weekend. Love that swapping the star for a different symbol lets you reuse it for birthdays or baby showers.

The instructions for swapping the star for another symbol make this pattern so versatile, I’m already planning three different versions for different holidays. The single block design came together in one afternoon, perfect for a last-minute gift.
