Accuquilt 55525 GO! Bucket Hat Die

For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller. This die is specially designed to cut one complete Bucket Hat in two passes through the GO! or GO! Big fabric cutter.

To cut one Bucket Hat:

  • Fabric Color 1: Fuse fabric with an interfacing like June Tailor® T-Shirt Project Fusible Interfacing. Cut one 7 3/4" square and place it on the Top (circle) shape to cut one shape. Cut four 7" x 4 3/4" rectangles and place them on the Side (straight) shape to cut four shapes. Cut four 8 7/8" x 4 1/4" rectangles and place them on the Brim (curved) shape to cut four shapes.
  • Fabric Color 2: Cut one 7 3/4" square and place it on the Top (circle) shape to cut one shape. Cut four 7" x 4 3/4" rectangles and place them on the Side (straight) shape to cut four shapes. Cut four 8 7/8" x 4 1/4" rectangles and place them on the Brim (curved) shape to cut four shapes

Harper ★★★★★

Wasn't sure one die could handle a whole hat, but it cuts every piece for the bucket hat in one pass. Just remember to line the fabric up on the lengthwise grain before it goes under the roller or the cuts come out wonky.

Carter ★★★★★

The die cuts all the bucket hat pieces in one pass, which saved me so much time compared to cutting each piece by hand. I followed the grainline tip and got perfectly aligned edges.

Victoria ★★★★★

Cutting all the hat pieces in one pass saved me so much time compared to tracing and scissors. I ran the fabric along the lengthwise grain like the instructions say and every piece came out clean with no fraying. Made three hats for my grandkids already.
